The suspects established a drug business and remained in the Kyiv region to support the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the event of occupation of the capital. The Security Service reported the neutralization of a criminal group in Kiev, which was led by former people's headpiece Ilya Kiva from the territory of Russia. According to law enforcement officers, neutralized grouping acted under the guise of a power cell of the forbidden party "Opposition Platform - for Life". The gang participants, according to the SBU, were members of the Patriots for Life, which was controlled by the former correspondent People's Deputy Ilya Kiva.

Prior to the departure of the expression to Russia, the group was tasked with destabilizing the situation in the country, as well as protecting public events with the participation of representatives of the IPPS in Kiev. For participation in such actions, citizens received funds from their curators from the forbidden party. "The group included at least 12 persons involved in criminal circles.

The organizer was in direct connection with Kiva, agreeing their actions, including after a full -scale invasion of Russia. Anonymous messengers were used for communication. The gangs should remain in Kiev to support the invaders in the event of seizure of the region, " - said in the SBU. Moreover, according to law enforcement officers, after the de -occupation of the Kiev region, group members established a drug business to receive additional funds.

During the investigation, it was found that the participants of the group organized production and sale of amphetamine parties, and two drug laboratories were in private homes. During the searches, the operatives found firearms and ammunition, as well as prepared for the sale of drugs and equipment necessary for the production of prohibited substances. On this fact, criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art.

307 of the Criminal Code - "Illegal proceedings, production, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues". They are currently resolving the issue of suspicion and election of a preventive measure in the form of detention to the participants of the group. It is worth noting that the former MP from Ilya Kiva, who openly supported Russia's invasion of Ukraine, was announced in May.
