The Pentagon has declared a new package of assistance to Ukraine: which weapon will enter it

The US Defense Ministry is planning to deliver ammunition to Ukraine in the next few days. The US has announced a new military assistance package for Ukraine worth $ 300 million. This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Ostap Yarysh on his Twitter page on Wednesday, May 3. This Pentagon Logistics Package will include additional ammunition for HIMARS, 155 mm howitzers, mortar and artillery shells, Hydra-70 plane and others.

In addition, the US Defense Ministry emphasized that, given the military-political situation in Ukraine, all the necessary equipment and ammunition will be delivered under a quick program. This means that in a few days or weeks, new equipment can be sent to the war zone. The Pentagon approved a new tranche of logistical assistance of Ukrainian fighters.

This time the package consists of: Recall that on May 3, the European Union agreed the only mechanism for purchasing ammunition for the Ukrainian military. EU countries are ready to transfer the AFU to the AMI of its warehouses for 1 billion euros. Another 1 billion EU will be allocated for further purchases of the necessary ammunition and weapons for Ukraine. And on April 19, the world media reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine ended ammunition for air defense.
