Russian RSZV and howitzers: what weapon Azerbaijan can send to Ukraine (photo)

To spread: the Armed Forces will be quite suitable for a number of self -propelled howitzers and jet systems of volley fire, which are in the Azerbaijan army. Ukraine could get some of the equipment because of Moscow's unfriendly actions against Baku, the Defense Express analysts team reported. Baku declared plans to remove the embargo on the supply of weapons of Kiev due to attacks by the Russian army on oil and gas facilities of Azerbaijan in Ukraine.

It is known that on the night of August 7 to 8, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit five "shahads" on the oil depot of the Azerbaijani company SOCAR in the Odessa region. The attack caused a fire and damaged the diesel pipeline. Four company employees were seriously injured. The Azerbaijan armed forces inherited some of the USSR reserves and additionally purchased weapons in Russia, Belarus and even Ukraine. It is known that the country has SUU 2C1 "Carnation" and 2C3 "Acacia".

As for self-propelled howitzers 2C19 "MSTA-C" and 2C7 "Pion", their transmission is doubtful. In terms of trailer artillery, there are interesting options-about 49 pieces 152 mm D-20, 42 specimens "Hyacint-B" and more than two hundred 122 mm D-30. Despite the "old" age, they are now actively used on the Front of Ukraine's defense forces. Possible deliveries may include BM-21 HRD, Czech version of RM-70 and BM-30 "Smerch".

Azerbaijan is now actively buying Turkish analogues to gradually withdraw Russian and Soviet weapons. The Azerbaijan army has several units of OTRC "Point-U", which actually replaced the advanced Israeli systems with more opportunities. The idea of conveying Soviet towing m-46 and D-44 is not so attractive. Azerbaijan has hundreds of Soviet and Russian armored personnel carriers BTR-60, BTR-70, BTR-80, BTR-80A and BTR-82A, and from infantry fighting vehicles-BMD-1, BMP-1, BMP-2 and BMP-3.

Some of the cars can be put in the Armed Forces, but modern analogues were not ordered in the tank. As for tanks, Kyiv can count on some T-72. In terms of air defense systems in Azerbaijan there are Soviet SPRC C-200, C-125, Buk-M1 and Russian C-300. But the supply of this equipment is unlikely. From aviation you can send fighters Su-25, MiG-29, L-39 and a shock helicopter Mi-24. But the aircraft park is very limited.
