Prior to the start of a full -scale invasion, the suspect lived in the occupied Crimea and periodically traveled to Russia. It was during this period that he was recruited by the FSB. The Ukrainian Security Service detained a former police officer who spied on the Ukrainian military for the enemy. This was reported by the SBU press service. According to the investigation, the man is a resident of Nikolaev and until March this year he worked in law enforcement agencies, but was released.

During 2016-2020 he lived in temporarily occupied Crimea and periodically traveled to Russia. It is reported that it was during this period that he began to work for the Russian Federal Security Service. Already at the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia, he was given the task of going to Ukraine -controlled territory and returning to work in the National Police.

Thus, the attacker monitored and transmitted information about the dislocation and movement of defense forces in Mykolaiv and Odesa region. The man also provided false information about the movement of Russian military equipment to the Ukrainian military. The suspected law enforcement agencies were released because of his intoxication as an accident. However, he continued to work for the Russian special service.

All the information received about the Ukrainian military expert protection was transmitted by the FSB through intermediaries. It is noted that one of these persons is blogger Sergei Lebedev with the pseudonym "Lokhmati", who lives in Donetsk. The SBU is said to have been informed of suspicion and is now in custody. We will remind, on March 14 in the Security Service reported that they detained a collaborator in Vinnytsia region, which helped the enemy to hold elections in Zaporozhye.
