To extend: the prosecutor asked for the election of Vitaliy Shabunin a preventive measure in the form of a personal obligation. The anti -corruption officer was obliged to be in the Kharkiv region, at the place of dislocation of his unit, the head of the Center for Anti -Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin was not taken into custody, but elected a precautionary measure in the form of a personal obligation. It became known on the results of the Pechersk District Court's meeting in Kiev.

Shabunin is suspected of evasion of military service and fraud. Prosecutors have asked him the softest preventive measure - a personal obligation. The applicant in the case against Shabunin, a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladimir Boyko, claimed that Shabunin had stolen 950 thousand hryvnias of combat payments from the combat brigade. At the same time he did not appear in the position of a single day.

Boyko estimated that more than 20 million hryvnias and a car purchased by volunteers for the battalion were stolen. "I have been released from the army for two months, but for the last two years I was at the front. And I bought a HBD certificate and stole our money," he explained. During the meeting, UNIAN showed Shabunin's photo during the trial.

Journalists noted that Shabunin was not at all concerned about the sentence, he was sitting with a wide smile, as if there was no meeting in the case of multimillion -dollar theft. During the trial of Shabunin, the defense demanded the judge and at the meeting announced a break. The lawyer explained the requirement that the Corruption Center had previously criticized the decision of Judge Grechany and publicly mentioned it in the materials.

Later it became known that Shabunin's defense was refused by the judge. The prosecutor declared a request to elect Vitaliy Shabunin a precautionary measure in the form of a personal obligation. As a result, the court chose Shabunin's precautionary measure in the form of a personal obligation by August 20. The activist should be in the Kharkiv region at the location of the unit in which he now serves.

The CPC Head is also obliged to submit a foreign passport and not communicate with other suspects in the case of evasion of military service. On July 11, the State Bureau of Investigation announced Shabunin of suspicion of an article for evasion of military service in martial law. He is also suspected of fraud. Law enforcement officers found that after mobilization in 2022, Shabunin did not appear in service for a long time and was in civilian institutions.

Under the guise of "business trips" he received more than 50 thousand hryvnias every month, but was not in the military unit. In addition, Shabunin was suspected of using a car designed for the needs of the Armed Forces. Shabunin on July 11 at home and at the place of service conducted searches without a court order, which lasted about 15 hours. The activist also seized a mobile phone.
