Mobilization with departure of men. How to stay a free country - and not weaken the army

The Ukrainian state does not mobilize the most ideal way - in particular, violates the basic principle of freedom of personality, says political scientist Alexei Arestovich. But, in fact, mobilization for victory is absolutely necessary. The process of mobilization raises a lot of questions and dissatisfaction with citizens, but because of insufficient and unsatisfactory communication from the state becomes even more. Nothing defines the state as its ability to mobilize.

In the Ukrainian state and society, many sores that have led us thirty years to decisive loss of economic and military potential. They are well familiar and you can talk about it a lot and in detail. Mobilization cannot be qualitatively different from other processes. It can be carried out more subtly, as well as approaching the ban on departure of men abroad, which directly contradicts one of the main ideas of Ukraine - freedom.

It was possible to develop a mechanism that would allow men to freely travel abroad, but if necessary, it was possible to call a person into the army. The refusal itself to appear at the first whistle should be socially condemned, and legal consequences should point the person to the main mistake in his life. One way or another, but only volunteers and professional military cannot win the continental war.

Their number is not enough in such a scope of hostilities and threats in certain areas, where it is also necessary to keep troops. We inevitably need the mobilization of those who are scared, who did not plan to connect their lives with the army, especially - to participate in hostilities.
