On Monday evening, November 18, the enemy attacked the city of Glukhiv in Sumy region with two drones of Shahd. One of the hostels was under the blow. As a result of the attack, six people were killed, among them a child. It is reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration. In addition, 12 people were injured, including two children.

The department noted that people can be held under the rubble, emergency rescue work is ongoing. The effects of an enemy attack are specified. In the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, they said that a child was killed-an 8-year-old boy. According to militiamen, another 11 people, including 2 children, were injured.

"On November 18, 2024, about 23:20, using the prohibited methods of warfare by international law, the invaders attacked a dormitory of one of the educational institutions in Hlukhiv, Sumy region," the prosecutor's office said. They added that a pre -trial investigation into violation of the laws and customs of war that caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre -trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in Sumy region. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the attack. He noted that Russia struck the city with drone, resulting in the destruction of one of the educational institutions. "At this time, it is known that seven people were killed because of this attack. A child. My condolences to families and loved ones. More than ten people have been injured, two children were among them.
