Previously, as a result of the rupture of the pipeline in the capital, the flooding of a 9-story residential building in the area of Pechersky Uzvoz began. The incident was reported to the Kyiv City State Administration.

After the breakthrough, emergency services arrived at the scene. Currently, they are working on eliminating the consequences of the accident, emphasized the KMDA. Soon, the department specified that experts discovered damage to the water supply network with a diameter of 400 millimeters. "The emergency team is currently working on localization of the leak and disconnection of the highway," the KMDA said.

It is also reported that a number of residential buildings were without water supply due to the accident on the pipeline at Pechersk Uzvoza. In particular, there is currently no water supply to houses numbered 6, 8 and 19, the department warned. Water supply to the specified houses is promised to be restored after completion of repair work at the site of the incident.
