According to him, partnership countries can introduce their military as instructors into Ukraine. Kostenko would like to see them, among other things, by air defense operators, and this would be the "slap of Putin". The air defense systems could be placed in the depths of Ukraine at a distance of 100 km and knock down all the missiles flying to peaceful cities and civilian infrastructure, Kostenko said.

According to him, any rockets approaching the borders of NATO or the EU should be regarded as a threat to the Alliance and therefore knock down 100 km from the border. The Secretary of the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada also spoke in the spirit that no one would resist it, and that it would be a strong position and the right step that demonstrates the determination of Ukraine's partners. "I think they will come to this yet. It is desirable that it was, of course," he said.
