Miracles of Fiber: The expert told how new technology will change the war in 2025

Binding through fiber provides perfect protection against HR, but is very expensive. In 2025, the war in Ukraine will continue, but new technologies should send it to another channel. In an interview with Liga. net, a Ukrainian military specialist Sergey Beskrestnov, known under the pseudonym "Flash", said about the influence of drone on the fiber. In 2024, both Russian and Ukrainian troops began to actively use percussion coptors who were in touch with the operator through fiber optic cables.

According to the expert, it is ideal protection against any means of radio electronic wrestling. Such drones are most advantageous when you need to destroy the target, protected by radio interruptions, such as Abrams or Leopard tank. At the same time, such weapons will be used in 2025 only for point lesions. The fact is that the drones of the fiber fibers are much more expensive than usual. Only a bulk coil costs about $ 500.

For Russians, this is not a problem, but for Ukrainians, a significant obstacle. "In the near future, the main mass percussion on the battlefield will remain drones built on radio -controlled radio channels. They are cheaper and easier to work with," said Sergei Beskrestnov. " It is increasingly difficult to fly - the use of optics will grow. " Ukrainians are now experimenting with the use of fiber, together with multiple drones-bombers, which Russians call "grandmother Yaga" and are very afraid.

With their help, the Armed Forces attack everything within 10 km from the front, if it is not protected by the means of EWS. In Russia, such experiments were also started. Earlier, they have already written how the defense forces of Ukraine use drones on fiber, invulnerable to the HR. One of these projects is "Reboff predator". The developers have created a coil that allows the fiber to be gradually unwinding, without interfering with the copter fly to the target, but faced some problems.
