Putin's ears in Europe: the Russian Federation launched a massive listening station close to NATO

To spread: after construction is completed, the CDAA object in Kaliningrad will allow Russia to control NATO electronic communications, especially in critical areas of Eastern Europe and the Baltic. For the last two years, Russia has been building a massive listening station 25 kilometers from the NATO border in the Kaliningrad region. This is stated in the investigation of the "exact" platform.

Investigators published satellite photos of a secret object of the Russian Federation, analyzed new possibilities of Russians and decided to name the material "Putin's ears in Europe: detection of a hidden antenna lattice of Kaliningrad". According to the platform, near Chernyakhovsk in Kaliningrad near the Russian naval base is the construction of a round antenna structure, which will "hear" everything that will happen in Europe. The work on the facility began in March 2023.

Since then, earthworks have been carried out, forests have been cut down and fences have been built. Last year, roads were built and some sections were completed for the construction of buildings. Now the territory is surrounded by a wall. There are excavations in the outer area for antenna mast. You can also see at least six rings. Circular symmetry indicates that the antenna with a frequency range from several MHz to 28 MHz will be located in a circle, the investigators explained.

On the secret object of the Russian Federation near Kaliningrad there are lattices of radio electronic control against extremely low frequencies (CDAA). They can intercept and localize radio signals at a distance of thousands of kilometers, detect submarines through very low frequency communication channels (VLF) and maintain a radio electronic fight by mapping the enemy's communication networks.

The system works by comparing the phase and time differences of the accepted signals on the elements of the antenna, calculating their direction with extraordinary accuracy. Satellite images indicate that the installation has a diameter of about several hundred to 1600 meters. This puts it much higher than the size of the size of known CDAA, even those who have recently been built in Cuba.

The construction site is now at the initial stage, and because of the limited data, it is difficult to make the final conclusion about the nature of the object, explained on the platform of investigators. However, several features indicate the possibility of a large -scale CDAA. Such installation will allow Russia to control NATO's electronic communication throughout Eastern Europe and the Baltic region.

Very low (VLF) or low (LF) frequency (VLF) will facilitate connection with submarines operating in the Baltic Sea or North Atlantic. In addition, such installation will support a passive collection of intelligence data, which is consistent with the broader doctrine of the electronic war of Russia, which is a key component of its modern hybrid war strategy.

"Although this new facility in Kaliningrad is still under construction, it is probably a key node of architecture of strategic electronic reconnaissance and Russia's strategic reconnaissance. This radio frequency reconnaissance facility will only work 25 km from the NATO border. Upon completion of construction, the CDAA facility in Kaliningrad will allow Russia to control NATO electronic communications, especially in critical areas of Eastern Europe and the Baltic States.

It can also contribute to the connection with submarines in the Baltic Sea or North Atlantic. Such a system would support the passive collection of reconnaissance data by Russia. In other words, the collection of information on the communications, movement or technology of the enemy - which would fully correspond to the Russian doctrine of radio electronic struggle. It should be reminded that earlier it was reported that Russia is silenced by the satellite navigation system of NATO countries.
