President

Since the beginning of October, more than fifty square kilometers have been released from the Russian invaders alone in Kherson region - the President of Ukraine's address

Ukrainians! Ukrainians! Today we have active diplomacy. We inform our partners about the next manifestations of Russian terror. About rocket strikes in Zaporizhzhia and other cities of Ukraine. About the use of Iranian drones against our people and infrastructure. For some reason, Iran claims that we do not have them. People see them in the sky. We knock them down. And we are told that they are not allegedly. Well, we will find ways to prevent them. We also inform about our movement on the front line.

Only from October 1 and only in the Kherson region, more than fifty square kilometers of the territory and dozens of settlements were released and stabilized from the Russian pseudo -referendum. There are success in the eastern direction. The day will come when we report on successes and in the Zaporozhye region - in those areas that are still controlled by the occupiers. The day will come when we say about the liberation of Crimea. This perspective is obvious.

It is also obvious that this way still has to go. It still has a lot to withstand, to do a lot. To make both Ukrainians and our partners - all who value freedom and international law. He talked with representatives of Australia's political, business and expert circles today. He felt full support and interest in our victory. By the way, Australia is part of the top 10 countries that provide us with defense assistance.

It is a very significant contribution to the protection of our country, international law and order as such. He appealed to the leading European leaders at the European Political Community Summit, which took place today in Prague. They urged them to do them all this new format of cooperation in Europe, which brings together different states: from Iceland to Azerbaijan, from Spain to Turkey - could not simply be a unification of politicians, but an association of peacekeepers.

Europe needs a community of those who are able to protect peace and put any terrorists in the place. These days, the European Union is moving to the introduction of an eighth package of sanctions against Russia. In particular, this package provides for the restriction of maritime transportation of Russian oil and creates tools to limit the oil income of the terrorist state. It's good. But this is only the beginning. We must make the terrorist state not earn any profit from the sale of oil and gas.

So that no petrotodolar and no gas -heurovro could go to the continuation of the Russian war against Ukraine and the entire civilized world. I am sure it will be provided over time. And I thank all Europeans, everyone in the free world, who works for the sake of this result. Who promotes the necessary political decisions and who creates the necessary economic alternatives to Russian energy resources. Tomorrow I will continue to work in this direction.

I will contact the participants of the European Council meeting. Today in Kiev he met with Samantha Power, the head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). They discussed the available and promising programs of our cooperation, the implementation of our rapid reconstruction plan of Ukraine. The main emphasis in these programs is safety. And we will soon introduce this new security approach to our civilian infrastructure.

Ms Power thanked for the allocation of funds to prepare our infrastructure for the winter, in particular for heat supply. He held a meeting today with the IAEA Gross leader, who arrived in Kiev. It is clear that our negotiations concerned first and foremost situations on the occupied Russian terrorists of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Station. But in reality, this theme is much wider. It applies not only to Ukraine and not only in the context of radiation safety.

Of course, any decisions of the current leader of Russia regarding the Zaporozhye station and any efforts of Russia to transfer the station to their property are worthless and, frankly, stupid. This is a nuclear power plant. This is not any palace, not a yukos or something else that has already been stolen by the Russian leadership. Only Ukrainian experts can guarantee that there will be no radiation incidents at the Zaporozhye station.

And it was important to hear from Mr Grosse that the international community would only be contacted with Ukraine, because it is Ukrainian property. It was, is and will be. There are now about 500 invaders at the station. And this is nothing but 500 risks of catastrophe. The world understands it. And I thank you for the support of anyone who fights for the return of full Ukrainian control over the station and for its complete demilitarization. Another aspect of this topic is electricity.

And if the Zaporizhzhia station does not work, we get some difficulties in Ukraine. We get a situation where we do not have a surplus of electricity that we can, in particular, export to EU countries. This is a downside to the EU peoples who lose a reliable source of energy. This is a minus for us, Ukrainians. We talk about it honestly. We speak honestly that we all need to fight for our interests together in Europe - in full unity.
