After the attack on Google: Detectives have been outlined by pensioners nearly half a million hryvnias

The summer couple received a call from the Detective, which allegedly struggled with money laundering. Thanks to this scheme, the unknown and his accomplices have seen more than half a million hryvnias. Unknown fraudsters who issued "detectives" were deceived by the elderly at the amount of 11 thousand pounds (almost 500 thousand UAH). The offender justified his legend by the fact that people were involved in the transaction undercover from identifying people who laundering, writes Daily Mail.

The media indicates that one summer pair began to receive numerous calls from a closed number. The male voice on the other side of the phone argued that he was involved in the national operation to find counterfeit money. The Detective added that he was working under the cover at the local police department and told the couple that he was attracting people to "checking money".

Then "Detective" asked a couple to collect seven thousand euros (masium 300 thousand UAH), which was later collected by an unknown man of Africa-Caribbean origin. The day the situation was repeated: called "Detective" and again asked to raise a new amount of money. This time, the wife went to the bank and an office from a loan, where she took another 11 thousand pounds (more than 500 thousand UAH), for which another man had already come, who was described as a native of the Middle East.

When the pensioners realized that they had been cheated, they immediately turned to the police. Law enforcement officers are currently investigating, testing witnesses and tracking surveillance cameras. Journalists add that this story with "detectives" undercover happened just after cybersecurity experts have released an urgent warning for Google users about the attack that could lead to the leakage of personal data.

"Hackers have purchased sponsored advertising space directly from the company, giving themselves out for a real site of the technical giant Google Authenticator, which provides users with a two-factor password protection. The fraudsters used the Google URL Clone, but then detailed analysis showed that this link leads to the phishing page," -They write the media and add that the hackers are accessing the bank accounts, addresses and personal IPs of clients.

We will remind, the focus wrote how fraudsters robbed Ukrainian, creating a shi dipfeyk of her volunteer girlfriend. The dippheik convinced the victim that she was communicating with her girlfriend with the help of "supporting" audio and video, as well as characteristic words and emoticons. We also told how hackers found a new way of stealing money. A group of cybersecurity researchers from Stone Brook University has revealed a new Kryptoshhra scheme and how users can protect themselves.
