According to estimates of the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, millions of hectares of nature reserves have been threatened. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov estimated the losses caused by the Russian ecology troops of the country in more than $ 35 billion. He reported it on Twitter.

"The losses of Ukrainian ecology caused by the Russian Federation are estimated at $ 35. 3 billion," Reznikov wrote on Twitter. The Minister recalled that Article 55 of the first protocol prohibits war against the natural environment, but Russian representatives seem to be concerned.

According to the State Inspectorate, since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Unified Register, data on 1,042 facts concerning the task of harming the environment in the territory of Ukraine in connection with the armed aggression of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It should be reminded that at least 50,000 dolphins were killed in the Black Sea.

According to Ukrainian ecologists, nearly 2,500 dead dolphins were found in the territory of Odessa region, Crimea, as well as off the shores of neighboring countries - Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania. But, according to statistics, only 5% of the dead marine animals are later on the shore. Earlier, Focus reported that Russian occupation troops had undermined vessels on the Dnieper and poured petroleum products.
