On the evening of December 5, Russian occupation troops struck a rocket strike in the city of Voznesensk of the Nikolaev area, resulting in at least one person died. This was reported by the head of the Nikolaev regional military administration Vitaliy Kim. "Unfortunately, as a result of an evening missile strike in Voznesensk, a man was killed," Kim wrote.

It should be noted that at half past 5 pm, the Air Force of the Armed Forces warned of a rocket danger in Mykolaiv region. "Another rocket in the south of Mykolaiv region! In the direction - Voznesenskaya!", - the message reads at 16:33. Voznesensk himself is located 89 km from Nikolaev and is the administrative center of the Voznesensky City Community. It lives more than 30 thousand people.
