The head of the Ukrainian government noted that today Romania is ranked third in the bilateral trade of Ukraine. According to Denis Shmigal, four areas of cooperation between the countries were discussed: in addition, Shmigal mentioned the expansion of cooperation in the field of energy, transport and digitalization through the status of Ukraine as an associate participant in the initiative of the three seas.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that on October 18, the premieres signed seven documents that would facilitate the consolidation of Ukrainian-Romanian cooperation: in turn, Marchel Colak condemned Russian missile and drone strikes on civilian and port infrastructure of Ukraine, calling them military crimes.
