According to analysts, such publications are clearly contrary to the former information narratives of the Russian Federation, which were intended to present the supply of F-16 and other Western weapons as the final "red line". Several Russian guideline bloggers have stated that the Western and Ukrainian media would blow a noise around the supply of F-16 to Ukraine, allegedly to distract from the failures on the battlefield.
Many Russian sources immediately proceeded to discuss the topic that Russian troops will start hunting for these planes. Commentators and officials often stated that the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine is a red border, the crossing of which will force Russia to move to greater escalation. At the same time, Russia has repeatedly argued that the mention of "red lines" is a reflexive method of control designed to keep the event from supplying additional military assistance to Ukraine.
The decisions of the Ukrainian leadership and Western partners have repeatedly crossed the so -called "red lines", which Russia has established since the beginning of the war. However, there was no significant reaction from the Kremlin. Comments of Russian sources indicate that a similar answer should also be expected for the appearance of the F-16 in Ukraine.
