War with NATO: Western aircraft in Ukraine will become a "legitimate purpose" for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - Zakharova

The Russian diplomat notes that providing combat aviation to Ukraine will increase the risk of direct armed clash of Russia with the North Atlantic Alliance. The supply of F-16 tactical fighters will increase the risks of direct military clash of the NATO block with Russia. In addition, if the western aviation aircraft appears in Ukraine, it will become a "legitimate purpose" for the Russian Armed Forces.

On December 6, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova stated during a briefing, TASS reports. The event has created a coalition of countries that will provide Ukraine with fighters and will teach Ukrainian pilots, she said.

According to the diplomat, since most of the aerodrome infrastructure of Ukraine is allegedly destroyed, it is possible that NATO combat aircraft will be available at the Air Force of Ukraine, will be placed on the Air Force of Poland, Slovakia and Romania to perform combat missions.

"In this way, the North Atlantic Alliance is increasingly involved in the Ukrainian conflict, and in reality, as we understand, is leading a hybrid war against our country under the slogan of Ukraine's rescue," Zakharova emphasized. According to her, the situation is such that the risks of direct armed clash of NATO and Russia are increasing, since Western aviation will be under the sight of the Russian forces in Ukraine.
