Do not stand operation: in the Russian Federation massively complain of the unreliability of new cars from China
For 8 months of 2023, 35% more Chinese cars under 4 years of age were sent for repair than in the same period last year. Cery, Lifan and Geely cars came most often. The greatest growth of appeals is recorded among HAVAL owners (+88%), Changan (+33%) and JAC (+60%). A number of Chinese models have problems with the quality of the assembly, other cars have an unreliable and short -lived design.
The survey showed that 61% of motorists consider cars from China to be partially adapted to Russian conditions, and 19% - not at all adapted and unable to survive harsh winters. In particular, many Chinese cars have a thin body metal that does not withstand heavy loads and is prone to corrosion. The suspension fails on the roads with potholes and is not adapted to the active operation of the car in a taxi - sometimes repair is required after 20,000 km of mileage.
Another weakness is the electronics of the car from China. It should be reminded that after the imposition of sanctions against Russia, the import of world brands has almost stopped. Their niche was occupied by Chinese car manufacturers: in 2022, 162 thousand cars were imported to Russia from the Middle Kingdom, and for 8 months of 2023 - 287 thousand earlier focus reported that taxi drivers were protesting against forced transition to Russian cars.
