It is difficult with employment: how many Ukrainians stay out of work because of war
For example, in September 2023, 44% of those who worked before the war remained in the former places, 14% work partially and remotely, and 15% - employed in a new place. This is evidenced by the survey of the sociological group "Rating". At the same time, almost a quarter of the surveyed citizens (25%) remain out of work. At the same time, the number of people who have no work continues to decline (30% of people were working without work in June 2023).
Among the displaced persons is increasing the number of those who got a job and became entrenched in a new place and those who work in the usual mode. At the same time, the share of non -working among IDPs decreased from 50% to 40 percent compared to the beginning of 2023. "A relatively better situation with the work of residents of the Center and the West, men, young and middle -aged, more secured," analysts say. It is noted that the survey was conducted from September 5 to September 7.
Participants in the survey were one thousand respondents in all areas, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbass, as well as territories where mobile communication from Ukrainian operators did not work at the time of the survey. According to the results of the last month of the summer of 2023, the level of official unemployment, according to the National Bank, established another historic minimum. Thus, the number of registered unemployed decreased to 108.

And during a full -scale war, the highest unemployment rate was recorded in June last year - 316. 4 thousand people.
