The enemy actively uses this weapon when he lacks intelligence, said Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the united coordination press center of the South Defense forces. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation intensified the use of anti-radiolocation missiles X-31P in the south of Ukraine.

This was reported by Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of Defense of South of Ukraine during a telecommunication. "X31-P is an anti-radial rocket that is aimed at searching for air defense systems, radar stations," Natalia Humeniuk said. According to her, the invaders are trying to check the readiness of Ukrainian air defense or find and destroy it.

Humeniuk stressed that the active use of this weapon is recorded from time to time, in particular when the enemy lacks the intelligence information, it is as intelligence. The Russians try to check whether the air defense systems will start the missiles. In this case, the enemy learns that 100% are air defense. However, if the rocket reaches its goal, then the air defense system was destroyed.

"We see that after the loss of A-50, the enemy has been somewhat more active, including with these rockets, trying to check the fight with the fighting of different directions," Natalia Humeniuk added. The X-31P missile is a basic variant of the anti-radiolocation missile with passive radar GSNL-112. Weapons are intended for the destruction of radar from the SPRs of long and medium range, ground and maritime base of various purposes.
