Ukraine synchronized sanctions with Canada and imposed restrictions on a number of persons contributing to Russian occupation

President Volodymyr Zelensky introduced the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on synchronization and imposition of sanctions and signed the relevant decrees. Ukraine has completely synchronized the sanctions that Canada has imposed this year against 139 individuals and legal entities working for the Russian Federation against our country.

There are 74 individuals and 65 legal entities involved in the industrial and energy industries of the Russian Federation, Russian MIC, propaganda of Russian narratives abroad, information operations against Ukraine, as well as representatives of state authorities of Russia and law enforcement agencies of Belarus.

In particular, it is: "Olchips", which supplies dual-use goods to the Russian Federation, such as microelectronics; Chinese "Hangoe Tek"-supplier of electronic integrated schemes-and "Way-El-Eech Electrons Eich-Key Ko"-distributor of electronic components; Cyprus "Asia Shiping Holding" - the owner of ships that carry weapons and ammunition from the DPRK to the Russian Federation; Paramount Energy and Commoditis Ca, which is related to Russian oil trade; Persons tangent to Transmorflot and Arkhangelsk Sea port.

These sanctions are also partially synchronized by European partners. Ukraine will continue to work on synchronization of sanctions of other allies, and together with partners prepares a decision to synchronize Ukrainian sanctions in partners' jurisdictions. The second decree refers to sanctions against 28 people involved in doing business in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and propaganda. These are, in particular, bloggers and military correspondents.
