The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "rapidly bypass" the defense and can go to Zaporizhzhia: how did it succeed - "Osman" (map)
Thanks to the advance in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians are passing the defense line in the south without any problems, according to a post by Stanislav Bunyatov, a soldier of the 24th OShbr "Aidar" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the call sign "Osman". In the "Sniper Speaks" Telegram channel, the fighter published an infographic showing the pace of the enemy's advance in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The map really shows how the "red" zone stretches out behind the positions in Gulyaipol, Zaporizhzhia region. Bunyatov's warning appeared in the afternoon on November 6. The military officer succinctly explained that there is a threat on another part of the front while the Russians are operating in Pokrovsk. According to his estimates, the Russian Armed Forces are "rapidly moving along the right flank in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.
" At the same time, the enemy finds himself behind the fortifications on the southern part of the front: he bypasses them from the rear. "While our attention is on Pokrovsk (Donetsk region), the enemy is rapidly moving along the right flank in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, bypassing the entire defense line in the south through the Dnipropetrovsk region," Bunyatov wrote. The fighter showed a map of the front, on which the advance of the Russian Armed Forces was marked.
The first frame is the battle line on the border of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, approximately on October 21. The positions of the Russians are at the level of Kalinivskyi and Novogrigorivka. The last frame is the situation as of November 4-5. We see red stripes that will stretch to Yehorivka and Vyshnevoi in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Pavlivka is occupied. There is also a gray zone that stretches south through Pershotravneve and Sweetka, Novouspenivske.
At the same time, the Russians bypass Gulyaipole and the fortifications that were probably installed there in a wide arc: the distance from the northern "wedge" to the city is about 18 km. In addition, the map shows that during two weeks (from October 21 to November 5) the enemy advanced more than 10 km. Focus wrote about the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region and the threat to Zaporizhzhia.
On October 9, an OSINT analyst with the nickname Clement Molin published his own map of hostilities and indicated which further direction of attack the Russians could choose. Among the risks he saw was the possibility that the enemy would indeed decide to move deep into the Zaporozhye region, bypassing the defense line in the Gulyaipol area.
According to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on the morning of November 6, it was reported about 31 attacks by the Russian Armed Forces in the Oleksandrivsk direction: it was this area that "Osman" drew attention to. The direction is in the third place in terms of intensity of assaults. The first is the Pokrovsky direction, on which 100 attacks were counted during the past day.
According to the report of the Ukrainian command, there were 13 assaults near Gulyaipill, and three near Orikhov. Meanwhile, fighting continues near Pokrovsk, and the Defense Forces are holding back a 1-3 km passage through which logistics to Mirnograd takes place, the French media Le Monde reported. It is noted that after the loss of agglomeration, a "domino effect" may occur due to the weakening of defenses.
