Gas production during the war: Naftogaz told what was with production in 2023

According to the chairman of the board of Naftogaz Alexei Chernyshov, 2023 gas production in Ukraine increased by 6%. The Naftogaz of Ukraine group, despite the full -scale war with Russia, was able to increase gas production. According to LIGA. net, the chairman of the board of the company Alexei Chernyshov, last year in Ukraine produced 13. 3 billion cubic meters of "blue fuel", that is, production increased by 6%.

"During 2023, we managed to significantly increase gas production, in particular Ukrgasvydobuvannya. This growth allowed us to declare a figure of 13. 3 billion cubic meters of commodity gas," Chernyshov said. He noted that the company is not going to stop there, and plans to increase gas production even more in 2024. "For 2024, the plan to approach 15 billion cubic meters at the expense of Ukrgasvydobuvannya and Ukrnafta," he stressed.

On February 13, Ukrgasvydobuvannya, which is part of the Naftogaz Group's structure, managed to reach the largest daily gas production since December 2018 year. Yes, as a result of February 8, 2024, the company produced 38. 54 million cubic meters of commodity resource. Gas production increases due to the fact that Ukraine has put into operation a record number of new wells. Among them there is a high amount more than 100 thousand cubic meters of gas a day.
