They eat snow and drink from the puddle: occupiers are increasingly talking about the desire to escape from Ukraine - AP

According to journalists, mobilized Russians complain of attitudes in units. Most of them are thrown into the battles unprepared, which leads to tremendous losses. Russian invaders begin to get tired of war in Ukraine and complain of repression. This is evidenced by the interception of telephone conversations shared by the Associated Press. It is noted that the second full winter is coming when the fighting is ongoing.

At the same time, the number of Russian soldiers who want to escape from the front is increasing. "Calls offer a rare idea of the war with the eyes of the Russians - a point of view, which rarely falls into the Western media, mainly because Russia has found a crime to speak honestly about conflict in Ukraine," the message reads. In telephone conversations, the Russians tell how all these almost two years of war.

Initially, the Kremlin sent to the leading professional soldiers, who ensured the invasion of February 24, 2022, but now the situation has changed. The enemy uses men from all sections of society who serve in "grueling conditions". The journalists also managed to check the persons of those invaders whose votes were intercepted and were even able to engage in dialogue with some. Also managed to talk to their relatives.

"These calls are the voices of men who did not escape or could not escape from mobilization. Some have had neither money, nor education nor options. Others believed in a patriotic duty," the message reads. The invaders advise their acquaintances at all costs to avoid mobilization, but if circumstances do not allow, they recommend going to some PEC, journalists write. The whole reason is that the mobilized saves the most and they are sent to the battles unprepared.

"It came to the fact that there were puddles, it was raining, and the boys raked all the puddles and drank. The snow fell, b ****, and the snow did not reach the ground, the boys were caught and eaten," - shares the mobilized. Also among Russian mobilized citizens is high mortality, which can reach 30%.

For the enemy, it became the norm that no person from the unit may return from the battle, but there are virtually no chance to escape to Russia, because they are threatened with a court or execution. By the way, journalists recalled the case that one of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation went home for 10 days, because his brother was killed in an accident. As a result, the Russians recorded him in deserters, although he had all the official leave documents on their hands.
