Military Accounting for Medical Women in Ukraine: What will change from October 1

As of October 1, all Ukrainians who have education or work in the medical and pharmaceutical spheres should be in military registration. The Ministry of Health emphasized that all women in the age of 18-60, who have medical or pharmaceutical education, should already be registered. It also applies to citizens who work in the relevant specialties (doctor, dentist, midwife, nurse, pharmacist and pharmacist, researcher, head of health care units, etc. ). "This rule has not been new and has been in force since 1992. Therefore, most medical women and pharmacists are already on military registration," the ministry said.

Since January this year, women who have received education in the medical and pharmaceutical spheres have also been put on military accounting. The institutions submit graduates lists to the territorial centers of staffing and social support (TCC) two months before the completion of study. From October 1, all women who are doctors and pharmacists, but for some reason were not on military registration, will make him stand up. "Military registration is not equal to mobilization.

Accounting is required only to summarize the data on the existing reserve of doctors in the state," the Ministry of Health stressed. Women with medical or pharmaceutical education will have three years. That is, it must be done before December 31, 2026. During these three years, women will be able to work in the medical and pharmaceutical fields without providing a military ticket.

However, when hiring Ukrainian women, they will be warned that the employer should be informed of them at the Tax Code. After that, citizens will need to appear in the military enlistment office and register. Medical women and pharmaceutical women do not have restrictions on traveling abroad. Nothing will change from October 1.

"Every woman with medical and pharmaceutical education can freely cross the state border, regardless of whether she is on military registration or not," the ministry was asserted. Currently, only women who are civil servants or officials of certain categories are limited in departure from Ukraine. Recall that for women who have a military specialty, but not medical or pharmaceutical, registration is voluntary.
