On the vessel Gretts Tunberg in Tunisia a fire broke out: activists declared a drone attack (video)

To extend: GSF global flotilla (GSF), which is composed of a Gaza with humanitarian assistance sector Swedish activist Greta Tunberg, said the drone attack on one of her vessels at Sidi-Busaid's port in Tunisia. Local authorities denies the drone. Activists said that Greta Tunberg was on the ship. At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tunisia stated that the version of the drone "has no foundation" and a fire broke out on the vessel, writes Reuters information agency.

Six Global Fleet Passengers, who were on the boat under the Portuguese flag during the incident, were not injured. The GSF statement states that the main deck and a substitute storage were damaged. On the published GSF on social networks, you can see the moment as a bright air object crashes into the ship from above, and then smoke rises above it. The Fleet has stated that the investigation of the event is ongoing and the results will be published as soon as they become known.

The eyewitness Reuters noted that after a strike near the Tunisian port, dozens of people with Palestinian flags gathered. A special speaker of the United Nations on the occupied Palestinian territories Francesca Albanese, which was also in the port, suggested that Israel may be involved in the attack. "We do not know who was the attack, but we will not be surprised if it was Israel. If this is confirmed, it is an attack on Tunisia's sovereignty," Albanese said.

Journalists noted that the GSF international initiative is moving to the Gaza sector with the intention of breaking the Maritime Blockade of Israel, which has been ongoing since the Hamas gas control in 2007. The Israeli authorities explained that it seeks to prevent the shock of weapons against fighters. The GSF flotilla is supported by delegations from 44 countries, in particular the Swedish activist Greta Tunberg and the Portuguese left politician Marian Mortagua.

Recall that in June, Gretnts of Tunberg Madleen, which went with humanitarian aid to the Gaza Sector, arrested the army of Israel. After that, all passengers of the vessel were taken to Ben-Gurion Airport and deported from Israel. On August 10, Greta Tunberg reported that she had been gathered in the Gaza Sector again.
