Russian propagandists in Telegram say that "Ukrainian border guards have been allowed to open fire and use FPV-pings on those who are trying to escape from Ukraine. " As evidence, they distribute a false photo depicting the advertisement. The Center for Combating Misinformation has verified this data in the State Border Service of Ukraine and reports that a spreading message together with a photo is misinformation and forgery.

The purpose of dissemination of false data is to intimidate Ukrainians and discredit the border service. The Center reported that Ukrainian border guards operate solely within the legislation of Ukraine. They use FPV and weapons only against Russian invaders in Ukraine. Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that for three weeks the border guards have been using the register of servicemen.
