The SBU tested the new Avdiivka sea drone: what is dangerous for the Navy and air defense systems (video)

The modernized drone Sea Baby "Avdiivka" has become more maneuverable, fast and capable of carrying different types of weapons to destroy targets not only on water but also on land. The Security Service of Ukraine creates 35 upgraded SEA Baby drones for UAH 320 million collected by Ukrainians. Engineers, together with the military, have already lowered the water and tested the first boat from a new series, called "Avdiivka", shown by TSN in their video.

Journalists point out that the drone is maneuverable, inconspicuous and round, because it is capable of carrying a pay load weighing 1 ton and overcome 1000 km. Explosives on board can be replaced with other weapons, but which was not told in the SBU. However, they noted that the novelty will be able to destroy not only marine targets, such as military facilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which are located near the coastline, such as air defense systems.

On the surface of the boat there is a terminal of satellite communication Starlink. The appearance and running qualities of the new SEA Baby drone have been somewhat changed. The shock boat is easily accelerated to 90 km/h, and is able to suddenly enter the vision. But the main feature of the device is that it can be used several times. The designers noted that it is no longer just Dron Kamikadze.

The boat is able to impress the target with its onboard weapons and help others, cheaper, Drone-Kamikadze to complete their missions. This suggests that the modified Sea Baby is able to act in the swarm of drones. After analyzing the mistakes made during the attacks, Ukrainian engineers refined devices in such a way as to bypass the systems of protection of the Russians.
