President

The reparations that Russia will have to pay for the committed is now part of international legal reality-the appeal of the President of Ukraine

I wish health, dear Ukrainians! Today was a very productive and symbolic day - the day in Kherson region, in the Nikolaev area. First of all, he was honored to personally celebrate the state awards of our soldiers. He handed over 36 orders of Bohdan Khmelnitsky and "for courage" in Kherson, and another three orders were handed over to the wounded soldiers. In particular, the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky I was awarded the brigade General Alexander Tarnavsky.

In September, he became the commander of the Kherson operational and strategic group, and we see the result. The title of Hero of Ukraine was awarded a scout, Sergeant Andriy Orlov. Back in September, he showed extraordinary courage and efficiency in battles in Kherson region. He was wounded, recovered. He returned to the front. And on November 10, the reconnaissance detachment participated in the release of Snihurivka.

It was he who raised the Ukrainian flag above the building of the district administration. Of course, there will be more awards, there will be more thanks. All our warriors who return freedom to Ukrainians and Ukrainian land deserve maximum gratitude. This is. It will. He held several meetings today - both in Kherson and Mykolaiv region. Let's do everything to restore normal living conditions for our people. This is obvious to all what Ukraine is, what is the presence of our flag.

When there is a Ukrainian flag, there is civilization, there is freedom. There is social security. There is infrastructure. There is security. There is anyone to take care of people. There is all that disappears and destroying when the occupier comes. Here is what the Russian flag means - complete devastation. There is neither electricity, communication, internet, nor television. The invaders were destroyed by themselves - specifically. These are their special operation.

Before winter, Russian invaders destroyed people with absolutely critical infrastructure. Absolutely all important objects in the city and region are replaced. It is happiness for everyone when Russia can expel. The happiness that will be in our cities and communities that are deprived of normal life and after February 24 and 2014. We will return everything. Let's return a normal life. And we know that peace for Ukraine is getting closer. For our country.

Within a few hours I will talk about it in my address to the participants of the summit . . . G19 in Indonesia. It is a union of very significant states. And today, on the eve of the summit, there were already significant statements. In particular, it is important that the United States and China have together noted the inadmissibility of any threats to nuclear weapons. Everyone understands who these words are addressed.

Today we also have the decisions of our partners, which strengthen the position of Ukraine. I thank Canada for a new defense package for our country with a volume of half a billion dollars. And also for new sanctions against Russian tyrannya - against the screws of this system. I thank the United States for new sanctions. Today, sanctions against more than 40 legal entities and individuals have been imposed to help Russia.

Absolutely anyone who works on the Russian army in one way or another, the defense sector must receive complete personal isolation from all over the world. And then there will be punishment for complicity in terror. At the UN site, our diplomats worked with partners for a very long time to agree and approve two very important resolutions.

The first of them is supported today - to create an international compensation mechanism, which will allow to compensate for all the losses caused by the Russian war, and at the expense of Russian assets. The reparations that Russia will have to pay for the committed is now part of international legal reality. The second resolution - to create a special tribunal on the crime of Russia's aggression against Ukraine - we still agree with our partners. We will do everything to make them work.

Today, for the co -chair of the UN Secretary -General Antonu Guterrish and the head of the office of Andriy Yermak, a meeting of the Coordination Council of Ukraine on the Protection and Safety of Children was held. I thank Mr. Guterrry for that. They discussed how to stop the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia and return home to anyone who was exported. At least it is almost 11 thousand children - we know them by name. But these are only those we know about. And in fact, more.
