Mobilization "tow": experts named the reasons for the decrease in the number involved in the Armed Forces

Experts are convinced that there are a number of reasons that have led to a slowdown in mobilization processes. Deputies are also convinced that the pace of involvement of people in the Armed Forces have really decreased. Despite the assurance of the Ministry of Defense about the positive dynamics of mobilization processes, experts and some politicians believe that in general the process of attracting new people to the ranks of defense forces is "towing". About it reports Hromadske.

Journalists write that after the new mobilization law of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Defense noted positive dynamics. The speaker of the department Dmitry Lazutkin in June stated that the number of people who wanted to mobilize increased, and "the process gained a different intensity. " However, in October, People's Deputy Roman Kostenko, who is the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, reported the deterioration of the dynamics of mobilization.

The media tried to comment on the Ministry of Defense to evaluate the correspondence of the words of the parliamentarian. However, neither the General Staff of the Armed Forces nor the Ministry of Defense commented on the request for mobilization plans and the number of persons involved in the army. The military expert and the chairman of the Armed Forces Land Troops Council Ivan Tymochko stated that Kostenko's opinion has "personal impressions" that are "subjective".

The expert is convinced that only the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces have reliable information about the needs of mobilization. The analyst Alexei Hetman disagrees with this thought. According to him, the People's Deputy has access to the state secret, which does not allow him to name specific numbers. However, it draws appropriate logical conclusions based on such information.

"It is enough to compare how much mobilized, for example, since the beginning of the year, and simply analyze the schedule monthly or dawn, how many people have joined the armed forces. And one can see the tendency: goes to lift, remains at a stable level or goes down," - said the hetman said . Another member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, a deputy from the pro -government party "Servant of the People" Fedir Venislavsky, was confirmed by the opinion of the mobilization.

According to him, the pace of involvement of people in the army has indeed decreased, but it is not significant. And the main factor should be the increase in the number of booked persons. "Citizens have updated . . . military accounting personal data, and the active part of them could be mobilized, but if compared even in the spring of this year, the number of booked in us has increased rapidly. And this is also one of the factors of reducing the rate of mobilization,"-said politician.

According to Ivan Tymochka, another problem of reducing mobilization processes is "hundreds of thousands of students of 30 years of age". He notes that today such citizens are studying in the HUB and receiving a deferral from the service, and adds that the Ministry of Education has to understand, "from which miracle the desire to study in this category of persons has increased so sharply.

We will remind, on October 1 the People's Deputy Roman Kostenko declared the need to reduce the mobilization age for the conscription for the Armed Forces. In his opinion, it is necessary to enter the army of the right people, not all in a row. There is a problem because they mobilize "limited", and therefore there is no one on the battlefield. On October 9, The Page reported that the Cabinet suspends the reservation criteria by November 15.
