Conflict in the Kiev Bookstore through Russian: The police reaction appeared
According to militiamen, the woman made a remark to the visitor of the institution who spoke in Russian. Trying to take the actions of a man on a mobile phone, the latter aggressively reacted to these attempts and tore a gadget from her hands. Police registered messages, identified the offender and the place of his / her location. He was a 44-year-old resident of Kyiv region.
Law enforcement officers interviewed the man and made an administrative protocol against him under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - small hooliganism. Actions that violate public order entails a fine of three to seven non -taxable minimum incomes or community service for a term of forty to sixty hours, or correctional work for a term of one to two months, with a deduction of twenty percent of earnings, or administrative arrest for a term up to fifteen days.
It is also reported that the collected materials will be sent to the State Language Commissioner for consideration and prosecution of the offender. The language Ombudsman Taras Kremin has not commented on the event so far. The "meaning" bookstore, where the event happened, believes that the reason for the quarrel was that Ukrainians do not want to hear Russian.
