New Kursk operations are needed - as the loss of part of the region hit the vulnerable place of the regime of the Russian Federation
The peak value of the SUC control zone in the Kursk region during the operation was 1 300 km². Currently, about 60,000 Russian soldiers have been concentrated in the Kursk region, and the losses in less than 6 months amounted to 38 thousand people killed, injured and captured. Thus, the overall concentration of the Russian forces totally amounted to almost 100 thousand in almost six months, or an increase from the initial group by almost 90 thousand.
In fact, in the Kursk region, the number, comparable to the general military army and a couple of divisions, was concentrated and used. In turn, the effect of such concentration of forces and means has become only partial, not the complete return under the control of the Russian authorities of the Kursk region, and today the SUU is controlled in whole or in part (gray zone) about 630 km².
In other words, for the whole period of Kursk operation, Russian troops were able to return 670 km², having lost 38 thousand l/s, in the ratio of 57 people per 1 km². An important aspect is the excavation of the Russian forces, comparable to OVA and several SMEs, in the territory of Russia itself and forcing them to the systematic consumption 'Yang, or Pokrovsk, or generally in the Orikhiv direction.
But these are all military factors and the effect of them in the Kursk operation, which have a negative impact on the combat capability of the years and the reputation of the Putin regime, which is forced to fight for the third year of the war in its territory. There is also a factor that is not so often said - humanitarian. About 150,000 people fled from hostilities in the Kursk region. About 30,000 are placed in temporary location points that are converted to permanent location.
Other refugees either settled on their own or live with relatives and more. In this case, the Putin regime is not able to cope with this humanitarian call. People do not receive payments, even completely poor 10-15 thousand rubles, untimely humanitarian assistance, lack of employment, etc. The power of Kursk region in the person of Acting Governor Alexander Hinstein has become a walking meme and a symbol of helplessness and indifference of the country's leadership.
In the sixth month of the Kursk operation, the humanitarian crisis forces the Russians to do what they would never dare in any other situation-to go to rallies and to demand something from power, and sometimes in high tones. And it is only a small part of the Kursk region, not the goals of the region, with the district centers destroyed in the ashes, large industrial cities, as in Ukraine.
And if the scale of the Kursk operation was somewhat different? Would there be more of such areas of control in the SUU, not just in KO? What if another such area can occur in a certain perspective and another 150 or 200, 250 thousand Russian refugees appear? The Kursk operation clearly showed Russia's helplessness in ensuring the safety of its borders.
The Kursk operation clearly showed Russia's inability to effectively fight even its territory and quickly return under control occupied by the enemy of the territory, even with a numerical advantage. The Kursk operation clearly showed Russia's inability to cope with unexpected humanitarian challenges, which create the effect of initial chaotization and social, social dissatisfaction, what in Putin Russia have always been most afraid of.
