Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that Ankara could be a mediator on the issue of Zaporizhzhya NPP, captured by the occupiers of the Russian Federation. He offered this to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation on Saturday, September 3, reports Reuters, citing Erdogan's office.

Specialists led by Raphael Grossi spent several hours in the territory. There are several representatives of the mission at the station (there will be two). The CEO of the IAEA said that the delegation would establish a constant presence on the NPP. Energoatom has previously noted that the Russians make every effort to prevent the MAIA mission to get acquainted with the real situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
