New attack on Russian security forces: in Izhevsk set fire to police, two patrols were stabbed

In the Russian Izhevsk (the capital of the Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation), the man tried to set fire to the local police department and inflicted knife wounds with two police officers. About it reports Interfax and other Russian media. It is reported that on the night of September 3 (at about 2:00) the man threw two bottles (according to other sources, four) with an incendiary mixture into the building of the police # 2 in Izhevsk.

This led to the ignition of the entrance group of the building. Video of the Day of the Russian Police Patrol Service tried to detain a man, but he was actively resisting. It is known that at least two patrols were given knife wounds, both hospitalized. The ignition has been liquidated, local media reported. Subsequently, it became known that a 25-year-old resident attacked the police department. He also found himself in the hospital: police opened fire during detention.

With regard to the man, Russian security forces have initiated a case for an article about the attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer (Article 317 of the Criminal Code), clarifies Interfax. For half a year of the war against Ukraine in Russia captures mass arson of Russian military enlistment offices and attacks on offices of law enforcement agencies. According to the media, at least 18 military enlistment offices have been set on fire in the Russian Federation.
