Delta Russian drones with cameras: How new reconnaissance drones work

To spread: after a series of nightlife, local residents record small drones with FPV cameras that circulate in the sky and cause alarm. Many call these devices "mopeds" - because of their size and manner of flight - and notes that they are not always equipped with warheads, but create daily psychological pressure.

According to the author of the Telegram-channel "Nikolaevsky Bajok", on Monday, local eyewitnesses posted a photo of a small device with a camera fixed under the delta-wing fuselage-a typical appearance in the field called the working version of "Delta". The photo clearly shows a compact FPV camera lens mounted in a plastic casing on the bottom of the platform.

This design allows the operator to conduct visual intelligence in real time and transfer the image to the control points for a considerable distance. According to available information, these devices perform the intelligence tasks - scan the terrain, identify air defense positions and monitor the movement of equipment. In most cases, they fly without the combat part, so they do not carry a direct threat of destructive force.

At the same time, individual modifications can be equipped with a small BC - up to about 15 kg - and used as shock UAVs, which increases the risk of critical points. The operatives explain that the alarm is switched on by the regulations, because it is impossible to know exactly in advance whether the device has ammunition. Because of this, residents regularly experience sirens and evacuation procedures - and the psychological factor is one of the goals of the enemy.

Much of these "mopeds" exhaust the fuel and falls on its own; Their wreckage is selected by our exploration. Sometimes the supporting systems of the enemy try to respond to rocket strokes, but such actions do not always give the desired effect. We will remind, as reported by focus, last month in Ukraine two recent Russian UAVs "Delta" were knocked down.
