Grenade launchers and "carpet bombing": Russia boasted new drones against the Armed Forces

To spread: The Russian military is used in the war in Ukraine multiple -armed quadcopters with hand anti -tank grenade launchers and "carpet bombing" systems. Developers from St. Petersburg claim that since 2022, the Russian Federation has put more than 18 thousand FPV-punks "Hydrangea" of different types. The details on its official site were reported by the Russian NGO "People's Front", which supports manufacturers. It was created at the behest of President Vladimir Putin.

Hydrangea is a line of unmanned aerial vehicles. It includes many models, most of them-FPV-Kamikadze. According to the technical director of the project with the call sign "Mex", they are used for delivery of goods, bombardment, for the placement of mines, shots from RPG and other ammunition. According to the developer, the drones of "Hydrangea" can now hang a manual anti -tank grenade launcher, which has a descent from above, not a chicken type.

The operator can send UAV to the enemy's position and remotely furnish. After that, the empty tube is dumped and the device flies to the recharge. "It is important that this option of working with the hanging of a grenade launcher does not require any additional modification. It is a standard way, hung, erected, flew tasks," MEC said. Hydrangea drones are also equipped with grenade launcher ammunition.

The developers have added a function that allows you to dump a large number of shells at the same time by arranging a local "carpet bombing" of trenches, armor or infantry groups. In a comment to the Russian news agency TASS "Mex" added that all the drones of "Hydrangea" are equipped with a mechanism that can be attached to any attachment, including detonation or reset systems. At the same time, UAVs can carry up to 14 ammunition in two drums to throw them out, in pairs, 7 pieces or all at once.

Not so long ago, the company began to supply the drones of "Hydrangea" on the fiber. They allegedly have a great advantage over the analogues, as they can switch between the connection through the cable and a radio channel without delay. If the fiber ends or breaks, the operator can continue to control it. Hydrange drones began to be harvested in November 2022. The developers assure that they became the first mass manufacturer of such agents for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
