Energy Maxim Bilyavsky said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation focused on the impact on the objects, on which the usual frequency and transfer of electricity to consumers depends on Ukraine. He emphasized that it is impossible to strike such blows without specific knowledge. Vice president of Energy Club Maxim Bilyavsky told what the objects of Ukraine's power systems suffer from Russian attacks. This is known from his comment on the program "Plesut. S. " of May 10.

"First of all, it is shunting capacity," he said. The expert clarified that it is about capacities that allow electricity to be given immediately. "The basic element of the stability of the power system of Ukraine is the frequency we are accustomed to - this is 50 Hertz. These 50 Hertz must actually provide every second," Bilyavsky said. According to him, shunting capacity is used to ensure this frequency.

"Therefore, the focus of the enemy's attention, unfortunately, were shunting capacity and infrastructure objects. That is, objects of transmission system, these are stations, high voltage substations from 110 kV and above, and directly objects of distribution networks, these are networks that supply electricity to the consumer directly, "the specialist said. He confirmed that attacks on the power system of Ukraine are being developed by hostile specialists and engineers.

"Without knowledge of the installation of the energy system, without specific knowledge of the operation of energy installations, it is impossible to plan such an unprecedented attack," Bilyavsky emphasized. He added that Russian energy is accomplices of creating prerequisites for a humanitarian catastrophe.
