More than 100 years ago, the armies realized that armored motorcycles have limited efficiency due to loss of mobility and deterioration of control. It seems that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will have to learn this experience only now, writes the observer David Aks. Russian propagandists showed motorcycles with grates on them. After the loss of more than 15,000 units of armored vehicles, the Russian Federation has proceeded to attempt to equip the assault groups with cheap civilians.

Motorcycles began to weld cells. The first images began to appear on the network.

Motorcycles with strollers receive "brazier", and sometimes a camouflage grid to them. The main goal is to reach Ukrainian positions as soon as possible. But the problem is that a 70-horsepower quad bike or a 50-horsepower motorcycle is not capable of storing mobility with additional structures. According to the author, this lesson of the army was learned more than 100 years ago during and immediately after the First World War. For the Russian army, obviously the lesson is only ahead.

"Nets" and "barbecue" on motorcycles should protect from Ukrainian FPV-pings during a breakthrough trip to Ukrainian positions. However, this is only in theory. The practice of the First World War has shown that armored motorcycles are not viable. Their increased weight and relatively high cost in combination with limited combat potential mean that they are ineffective.
