Russian deputies want to deprive the citizenship of Russians who have been captured in Ukraine
Russian senators offer citizenship from those who simulated the disease to evade service or desert. The senators of the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation have made amendments to the State Duma to the Law, which provide for the deprivation of the acquired citizenship of the Russian Federation for being captured, evasion and desertion. Senator Andrew Klishas, who is one of the authors of amendments, informed about it in his telegram channel.
The amendments concern the Presidential Bill, taken by the State Duma in the first reading.
Senators propose to pick up Russian citizenship from those Russians who received a passport for admission to citizenship and committed at least one of the offenses: a day before that Russian President Vladimir Putin made his amendments, which provide for deprivation of acquired citizenship of Russia for: recall, as of 20 October almost 3,000 Russians appealed to the Ukrainian authorities for voluntary surrendering.
