Machines, diamonds and more: it became known that it will be included in 12 packages of sanctions against

According to journalists, the 12th package of restrictions will be aimed at the Russian Federation to bypass sanctions and feed their military machine. In particular, it is about reducing the sources of income of the terrorist country. The European Union plans to prohibit the export of machines and components for the production of weapons to the Russian Federation. This includes restrictions on the supply of diamonds and other materials. About it reports Bloomberg.

According to available information from Bloomberg documents, the 12th Package of the European Union sanctions is directed against Russia and probably contains a ban on diamond export, as well as measures to strengthen control over compliance with the upper limit of Russian oil prices. It is noted that this week the EU Member States will consider all the proposals for restrictions, which can be changed before they are approved.

According to the publication, the Russian Federation buys certain equipment, including welding machines and numerical software systems, from European countries and uses them in the process of ammunition production. Nowadays, the struggle for ammunition supplies has become a key to the preparation of Ukraine for a long war. While Russia has been able to provide itself to the production of ammunition, Kyiv allies are at risk of failure to comply with artillery shells for Ukraine.

The 12th Package of Sanctions will be aimed at Russia's ability to circumvent sanctions and feed its military machine. In particular, it is about reducing the sources of income of the terrorist country. Other goods used by Russia during hostilities against Ukraine and which contribute to the production of military systems - chemicals, lithium batteries, thermostats, as well as engines and servotors for unmanned aerial vehicles.

The restriction package will include a ban on diamonds from January 1, as well as a gradual introduction of an indirect ban on the import of Russian diamonds processed in third countries.

As part of measures to ensure the upper limit of the price of Russian oil, which is $ 60 per barrel, the European Union offers the following steps: "Russian oil is now trading much higher than the top limit of 60 dollars per barrel, which the EU and other countries of the" Great Seven countries "Established in December last year.

This threshold is largely due to the use of a huge shadow fleet of tankers that Moscow has accumulated, which means that it does not need to use Western ships, insurance or other services that are forbidden for loads that cost more than 60 dollars, " - explains the publication. In particular, proposals include import restrictions: if the proposals are approved, more than 30 companies will be added to the list of entities with which is limited.

The EU also suggests that the EU and the United States are trying to block the ways in which Russia is trying to bypass the sanctions imposed by invasion of Ukraine. In particular, they find the ways in which the Kremlin receives electronics used to produce weapons. Some of these paths ran through Turkey and the UAE, and investigators testified.

Meanwhile, the Arab Emirates are trying to continue to maintain contacts with Moscow-this is evidenced by the participation of President of the UAE Muhammad Bin Zaid Al Nagayana in the economic forum, which took place in St. Petersburg in June. However, the media reported that the Arab politician had to meet personally with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but allegedly intentionally avoided communication.
