The repair will not be free of charge, "the Sultan explained. Therefore, the masters of the brigade can only do minor repairs.

For example, in one of the episodes during the shelling, the fuel tank of one of the installations was damaged. It would seem that it is a simple repair, but the problem should be eliminated promptly so that the SAU quickly leaves the fire position for further maintenance. The second platoon is responsible for the repair of the automotive equipment of the brigade, and the third - for the evacuation of damaged machines. Sometimes the repair has to be carried out simply under fire.

"If it is not possible to evacuate the equipment quickly or there are intense enemy shelling, sometimes it is necessary to repair the equipment in such difficult conditions," - said the commander. One day there was a case when the masters had to save valuable equipment "Bogdan" literally under the heavy fire of the enemy. Sau caught fire, one of the fighters was seriously injured, but the task was completed.

According to "Sultan", for such cases there is a specialized machine-master on wheels, which is equipped with tools, generator, welding machine, etc. Although the unit does not yet have equipment for the evacuation of large machines, the evacuation of light equipment is possible even from swampy terrain. "That day, the boys worked nearby and arrived quickly. Together with the crew they saved everything that could be saved in this car," the commander added.
