This was stated by a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MO) Andriy Yusov in an interview with Espresso TV channel on July 20. According to him, the extreme exacerbation happened after the exclusion of the Russian Federation of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and the dam. Then reported reports that the occupiers had carried out additional mines of the NPP, in particular in the area of the cooler basin.
Preparation for provocation began last year when explosives were actively imported into the station. "But after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, everything has been intensified. These and other factors indicated the preparation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of the next terrorist attack and man -made disaster. However, there are signs that the threat of this scenario has now been postponed," the message reads.
It will be possible to speak about complete safety in the Zaporizhzhya NPP area only after Ukrainian troops are again controlled, and so far the Ukrainian special services are watching all the enemy's actions. Andriy Yusov also commented on the forecast of the American Nuclear Society that even the worst scenario of the Chernobyl or Fukushima catastrophe. He believes that in any case, the probability of a blowing station scares people, especially if they live in close proximity.
