International Federations were recommended to exclude Russian and Belarusian athletes and teams (photos: Reuters/Attit PeraWongmetha) 35 countries from all over the world requires removing Russia and Belarus from international competitions through a solved war in Ukraine, reports on the official website of the Ministry of Sports of Poland.

This initiative was supported by 25 members of the European Union, as well as the United Kingdom, Liechtenstein, Iceland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan and Norway. It is interesting that there is no signature from Ukraine under this document.

“We demand the termination of membership of Russian and Belarusian sports unions in international federations, the removal of representatives of these countries from the governing bodies of international federations, as well as the termination of broadcasting of international sports events in Russia.
