Duda stated that Poland is ready to place nuclear weapons on its territory

Polish leader Andrzej Duda explained that the Russian Federation increases the militarization of the Kaliningrad district and throws weapons in Belarus. According to him, nuclear weapons exchange has been discussed with the United States for some time. President Andrzej Duda said Poland is ready to deploy nuclear weapons in its territory. This is known with his interview with FAKT, published on April 22.

The leader said that the exchange of nuclear weapons for some time is a topic of negotiations with the United States. "I talked about it several times. I confess when I was asked, I stated our readiness," he said. Duda explained that the Russian Federation increases militarization in the Kaliningrad area and has recently moved nuclear weapons to neighboring Belarus.

"If our allies decide to deploy nuclear weapons in the framework of nuclear weapons exchange in our territory to strengthen the safety of NATO's eastern flank, we are ready for it," the politician assured. He noted that Poland is an ally in NATO and has appropriate obligations. "That is, we just implement a common policy," Duda added. We will remind, Bild reported that Germany disrupted the supply of MRAP armored vehicles to Ukraine.
