"Albatros M5" is a reconnaissance drone of a distant radius of action. It was used by the enemy during the reflection of Russian volunteers in the Belgorod region, analysts of the Institute of War Study have told. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation used a modernized unmanned aerial vehicle "Albatros M5" to guide aviation and artillery strikes in the Belgorod region. This was reported by analysts of the Institute of War Study in the daily report for March 27.

ISW analysts noted that the Russian developer of the Albatros UAV informed that the Russian Army had used the reconnaissance drones of the distant radius of "Albatros M5" during the reflection of Russian volunteers in Belgorod region. The maximum drone flight time is 4. 5 hours. The wingspan of "Albatros" wings is 3. 3 meters. Instead, the housing is made of composite materials with carbonic power elements. The drone can accelerate up to 120 kilometers per hour and overcome the route 300 kilometers.

The device is designed for aerial photography and video monitoring. We will remind, on March 26 Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky told how Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov attacked the residents of Belgorod for complaining about shelling and war in the city. He also called them "creatures". On March 20, the media reported that the army of the Russian Federation began to transfer units from the front in Ukraine to the Belgorod region through Russian volunteers.
