Reuters, Al Jazeera and AFP journalists came under fire in Lebanon: There are victims

According to the media, one journalist was killed as a result of the shelling of the Livan. Six more representatives of the foreign press were injured. On Friday, October 13, a group of international journalists who covered events in southern Lebanon came under fire. As a result, the Reuters video operator was killed by Abdall, which was reported in the agency. "We are deeply upset, having learned that our video operator was killed by Issam Abdall," the fellow of the deceased said.

It is reported that Issam was part of the agency group in the south of Lebanon, which provided direct video. One of his last publications on the social network X shows the moment of the explosion in the vicinity of the Livan village of Alma-Eshab. Al Jazeera reported that two of his employees were among the wounded: operator Eli Brakya and reporter Carmen Juhadar. "It was terrible. The situation was there - I can't explain, I can't describe it," the channel correspondent said.

The French news agency AFP reported two affected employees. Photographer Christine Assi and Video Correspondent Dylan Collins was hospitalized at the Tira Hospital. In total, according to AFP, six journalists were injured, including two Reuters journalists Taira Al-Sudani and Macher.
