Contract with the Armed Forces during the war: who can sign and at what time

During the overall mobilization, citizens have several options for signing a contract with the army. The service life can be from 1 to 10 years. In Ukraine, the martial law and general mobilization have been continued again and now they will act at least until November 9. At the same time, conscripts, even during the war, have the opportunity to sign a contract with the Armed Forces. In the article "Armyinform" told about its terms and features.

There is some variability in the signing of military service contracts. You can sign fixed contact, and you can announce demobilization. Such a version of the contract is possible only if there is a martial law, as it is now. This is regulated by the Ukrainian Law on Military Duty and Military Service. Such a scenario is possible for those who have already been mobilized in the army and the duration of the contract depends directly on when demobilization is announced.

Such contracts can also be signed during martial law and its terms can be from 1 to 10 years. It depends directly on the title and positions, so when it comes to the first contract, then it is worth expecting the following conditions: for the officers the terms of the contract others, the authors of the material continue. "With military personnel who have graduated from higher military educational establishments under the training programs of the contractual term of the contract is 5 years.

Except for the specialties of flight warehouse. They have the duration of service - 10 years. With servicemen who have been trained in stock officers (military departments). from 2 to 5 years (depending on the consent of the parties), " - the message reads. The authors of the material also added that for doctors and citizens who were not 25 years old, it was possible to sign contracts for a term of 1 year.

During the martial law, the contract for servicemen continues automatically. At the same time, the Ukrainian Law on Military Duty and Military Service defines grounds that allow the contract to be terminated early and dismissed. We will remind, earlier Focus wrote that the military, who in time updated military accounting data through the application "Reserve+" and came to the CCC to resolve other issues, received a fine of 17 thousand UAH.

Also, MP Fedor Venislavsky stated that the issue of reducing the conscript age in Ukraine is raised by partners. According to him, allies of Ukraine believe that men 18-25 years old have the most optimal and effective for participation in the war. However, the state does not currently have such initiatives.
