According to journalists, this is the seventh case of death among the highest heads of energy companies over the last year. Igor Shkurk, the first deputy director general and chief engineer "Yakutsenkenergo", was found dead in the Yakutskaya detention center. This was reported on April 4 by Komsomolskaya Pravda, citing its own source. It is reported that the court sent a Russian topsman to the pre -trial detention center on March 31 - the next day after he was detained in the case of a bribe.

In the management of the Federal Sentence Service, Yakutia claims that Shkurko committed suicide. According to management, this happened on April 4. In Roszm, Shurko disagreed with his arrest and appealed him shortly before his death, April 3. The Investigative Committee refused to comment on the event. Yakutskenergo ignored the official requests of the media. According to journalists, the 49-year-old Shkur was responsible for the technical management of the company.

PJSC "Yakutskenergo" belongs to "Rushydro" and works throughout the republic. The deceased topsman has a wife and two sons. Prior to his appointment, Shkurko worked as a CEO of South Yakuta Electrical Networks. He was a deputy of the Aldan district council from the party "Edina Rossia". In January 60-year-old Leonid Shulman, the head of the Gazprom Invest Transport Service was found dead in the elite village of Leninsky near St. Petersburg. According to investigators, Avayev shot his family members and then committed suicide. Then the former Novatek topless Sergei Protosen was found hanged in Villa in Spain. His wife and 18-year-old daughter were also found in the house. A familiar businessman called them a "exemplary family".
