58% of Ukrainians will fight against the aggression of the Russian Federation without the help of the event - a survey (infographics)

More than half of the respondents have expressed their belief that even in the event of a significant reduction in the event of the West, Ukraine should be pressed on the occupiers, even given the risks for Ukraine -controlled territories. Ukrainians believe that they should continue to fight even without proper support of allies from Europe and North America. This is evidenced by the results of the KIIS survey.

Respondents have expressed their belief that the country is able to defend and defend its independence in this case. In total, 87% of Ukrainians believe that if the West continues to assist Ukraine with weapons, provide some funding and apply sanctions, then Ukraine will be able to defeat Russia. Only 7% of respondents consider the Russian Federation "too strong. " Their thoughts do not depend on the level of support of Ukraine by the West.

Another 6% of citizens who participated in the survey were not decided. In the regions of Ukraine, the distribution of results shows that this outcome only depends slightly. In the eastern regions, the proportion of those who are confident in Ukraine's success is 79% against 9%, in the southern regions, 85% are 10%. In the event that Ukraine's support is significantly reduced, the respondents were asked to choose the most recent scenario of further events in two options.

The survey was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) during November 29-December 9, 2023 on its own initiative and financing. Telephone interviews using a computer (computer-assistedTelephoneinterviews, Cati) have interviewed 1031 respondents who live in all regions of Ukraine (except Crimea). Under the war, in addition to the formal error, some systematic deviation is added.
